"Bruce has been an excellent extension of the Best Buy Oneteam, taking the time to dive deep in to the Best Buy Health environment and current challenges. He approached me and my team to discuss the Application Modernization Lab engagement since Best Buy Health has a large Windows footprint. When we met, I shared with him that the problem is larger than the Windows workloads and that while the cost savings would be significant for the customer, that wasn't enough of a motivator to get them to consider the engagement. Bruce took the time to meet with my team and to meet with the customer on multiple occasions to understand that they have a need for a standardized modern architecture, AND that they need their budget to remain cost neutral, AND that they are working on HIPAA compliance. AML is the way to modernized the Windows workloads, which will 1/reduce the overall cost of infrastructure and operations, 2/simplify the HIPAA compliance requirements, 3/create enterprise architecture standards, 4/ create architecture that supports agility 5/supports modernization and cost reduction at the same time! I met with the CTO at the end of August and he is bought in, now it is a matter of timing as it relates to their budget. I'm working to get the customer commitment in November/December 2024. It is because of the time and attention to detail that Bruce has provided. He has been customer obsessed, shown bias for action, dives deep and soon we'll be able to include Delivers Results too!"

He has proved to be a strong partner for the account team and has been instrumental in helping build the strategy to migrate database platforms for the customer. "In my role as ProServe CPM for ISV customers, I have partnered with Bruce throughout 2024 in pursuit of AML opportunities for the customers who map to me including Asure Software, TimeClock Plus, SSI, and SPS Commerce, among others. Bruce strengthens my relationship with AWS account managers by demonstrating that ProServe is proactively surfacing valuable opportunities to bring to their customers. He comes prepared to internal and customer conversations to share details of the AML program as well as customer-specific business cases. From my experience, MS modernization is not always at the top of customer priorities and Bruce is often put in position to create the need and sense of urgency. I have seen extended sales cycles due to customer resource availability and budget. That said, Bruce always pushes for status update to ensure that the opportunities move forward. Nearly all of my AML pursuits with Bruce remain open with dates identified by customers for when modernization will fit into their roadmaps."

"Bruce has provided AWSome support in 2024 at Medtronic. Medtronic has a Diabetes CareLink application that is used to assist patients with diabetes. The application was lifted over to AWS, now the customer is seeing a higher spend than expected. Bruce brought in the AML to the customer to help them understand the benefits and value for modernizing the application on AWS. Bruce earned trust with the customer as a trusted advisor. "Bruce enabled Cardinal Health's AWS account team to have modernization discussions with the customer. Bruce met with the AWS account team several times to understand the customer and build out estimates and savings to present to the customer for modernizing Windows based workloads at Cardinal Health. Even after the customer had a large divestiture and their AWS usage dipped below the threshold for the AML program, Bruce continued to equip the TAM with information to create a presentation and case for the customer to modernize their Windows based workloads; specifically migrating Windows workloads to Linux on Graviton. While I've rolled off of Medtronic to be the AE for Abbott Laboratories, the foundation you laid with me allowed me to position an engagement with your peer Jackie for Abbott Laboratories for a workload that has $36M ARR. While there has not been a formal engagement for your work, you've definitely been customer obsessed and helped frame and shape modernization conversations we would not have been able to have for two large HCLS customers with a combined ARR of $112M."
